After a yet another long hiatus, I’ve made updates to my all-Java media player, JahSing!
JahSing is different from most media players, in that it is 100% Java-based, and as a consequence will run on any operating system that supports Java (as of this version, Java 1.5 minimum). Since it uses the Java Media Framework (JMF), it has great support for most of the popular media formats you’ll meet, like AVI, MP3, OGG and WAV files. There is also additional support for sequenced MOD files (like S3M, MOd and XM), as well as online Shoutcast radio playback capability.
The new version also supports online lyric discovery and album art.
JahSing can be downloaded from the main web site, jahsing.com, so go head – check it out!
