I’ve been fooling with RSS and other Web-based data transport and content encapsulation technologies for a bit, and I have come upon some links that may be useful to others interested in developing syndicated information feeds (of any type).

\nGoogle provides most of its services via RSS-based feed, e.g., Google Calendar, GoogleBase and Froogle all have APIs accessible through RSS. As such, 3rd -party feed consumers can make use of these services to develop an alternate tier of wares that can be pushed out to the webizen. I’m not sure how yet, but I think it has to involve some sort of high-level language (e.g., PHP, Python or Ruby), as well as proprietary or public data sources that can be readily transformed to RSS for remixing and mashing.
