Imagine my surprise this afternoon, during my <a href=\"http:\/\/slashdot.org\/\">slashdot siesta<\/a>, to see this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popsci.com\/popsci\/\">article<\/a>! The real question now is, when are the homebrew hackers gonna get involved. I suspect thats when the real innovations in the whole area of human-machine integration will start popping out of the woodwork. Maybe we have to start thinking about an analogue of Moore&#8217;s Law for areas like cyberbionics (cool phrase, me like!).
